Agreements with local partner universities

1) Whole programme

The partner University does not locally offer the same degrees as eCampus University. In this case, the partner University acts as the local provider of eCampus degrees taught by eCampus-approved teachers.

2) Partial programme

For students who have already completed some university study. eCampus University evaluates and recognises exams, credits and/or degrees previously studied and obtained in students’ home country, and creates the study plan necessary for them to obtain the eCampus degree. The partner University acts as local provider of eCampus degrees.

3) Double qualification programme

The partner University locally offers the same degrees as eCampus University. Students therefore obtain a double qualification on successful completion of all exams.

In all 3 options students will attend traditional face-to-face classes at the partner University.

Services provided by the partner university

  • Running commercial operations and enrolling students onto courses offered through the eCampus platform in English
  • Organising eCampus degree classes with the support of local eCampus-approved teachers. Students will attend face-to-face classes with the following teaching methods: Lectures (delivering of core material), Tutorials (meetings between students and lecturers), Seminars (involving students presenting previously prepared work), and video lessons
  • Helping eCampus in organising exams both in Italy and in the home Country
  • Dealing with all bureaucratic procedures
  • Organising potential on-campus study periods in Italy at eCampus University, previously arranged (weeks per year to be defined according to degree)
  • Following the Quality Assurance Manual of eCampus University and ensuring assistance during quality controls

Additional services for students

The local partner University can offer students additional services:

Face-to-face Tutoring

This may be a separate and signed contract with the student providing a further service of individual face-to-face tutoring upon request for eCampus exam preparation. Tutors will have to be trained by eCampus’ teacher training programme.

Advanced English Course

An additional and separate contract can be signed with the student to increase his or her knowledge of the English language. This course is directed at students who, though extremely able and well-prepared for university studies, lack the language skills necessary to pursue a degree programme in English.

Services provided by eCampus University

  • Providing online courses in English, that students will have access to through the eCampus platform. Online tutors will monitor the whole procedure between students and local teachers and give their support on the various disciplines when needed
  • Training the local teachers/tutors when needed: training will be organised in Italy at the expense of the local partner University
  • Organising exams and conducting the examination board
  • Assisting the local partner University in bureaucratic activities
  • Assisting, when needed, the local partner University in its relations with local governmental or professional institutions
  • Assisting the local partner University through periodical quality assurance inspections
